Dr Anandi Sivapragasam is from Sri Lanka.
She obtained her MBBS from Manipal, India in 2004 and shortly after that worked at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in the United Kingdom for 2 years.
Since migrating to Australia in 2006, she has worked in both hospitals and General Practice.
She obtained her FRACGP in 2015, and has worked in both rural and metropolitan areas of Victoria as a General Practitioner.
Her areas of interest include chronic disease management, travel medicine, refugee and migrant health, women’s health, paediatrics and family planning including insertion and removal of Implanon.
She is fluent in English and Tamil. Outside medicine she enjoys reading, bushwalking and spending time with her family and friends.
