Michael is a family practitioner with over 30 years’ experience caring for patients in the eastern suburbs. He graduated from Melbourne university in 1982 and was admitted as a fellow of the Royal Australian College of general practitioners in 1994. Michael has been a principal partner in a medical clinic in Blackburn between 1986 and 2018. He is passionate about providing empathic and optimal clinical care to patients of all ages. His interests include working with children and adolescents, minor medical procedures, caring for the elderly in aged-care facilities, acupuncture, and the continuing education of medical students. Michael is available Monday – Saturday

We encourage you to have your annual flu shot as the flu vaccine changes yearly to keep up with the most common strains. Vaccination from mid-April onwards is likely to result in peak immunity during the flu season.

Flu vaccines are also free for:

Pregnant women (a flu vaccine can be safely given at any stage of pregnancy)

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people 6 months and older

Patients with chronic conditions or are severely immuno-compromised

There is no fee for the consultation, just the cost of the flu vaccine, if applicable.
