Dr Aveline Loh graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2008 and completed her General Practice training in rural Western Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), and has a Fellowship in Advanced Rural General Practice (FARGP).
Aveline has a special interest in women’s health, chronic disease management, and palliative care. Her enthusiasm to provide the best possible medical care to her patients has resulted in her undertaking further postgraduate training obtaining a Diploma of Child Health and a Clinical Diploma of Palliative Medicine. She is also skilled in procedures including: iron infusions, Implanon and Mirena insertions and removals, and minor skin excisions.
Aveline believes in providing holistic care to her patients and that prevention is better than cure. In addition to practicing evidence-based medicine, she believes that good communication and patient education are important in producing the best outcomes. Aveline values building long-term relationships with her patients and strives to provide compassionate, patient-centred care to individuals and families at every stage of life.
